Demons of Dimyr

Currently working on an episode (one of three different types of adventure modules I plan to develop to complement HexHunt) called (for now) Demons of Dimyr.

Adventure Module Types

I plan to create three different types of adventure modules, all of which will be pre-generated (and pre-rolled for the most part) for a streamlined solo hexcrawl experiences. The three types are Seasonals, Episodes, and Dungeons.

  • Seasonals (S series): they will be long and detailed with a double-page hex map which will include multiple cities, multiple dungeons, other types of settlements, factions, NPCs, hunts, etc. (40-60 pages) Good enough to be completed in a three months' in-game time.
  • Episodes (E series): single-page hex map with a central city, and its surrounding settlements, including all the usual points of interest, smaller settlements, demons to hunt, dungeons, etc. Good enough to be completed in a month in-game time.
  • Dungeons (D series): As the name implies, they will be dungeons at a place in the fictional universe of the HexHunt. Good enough to be completed in a week in-game time.

E1: Demons of Dimyr
Currently I've started drafting the first introductory episode, for now called Demons of Dimyr. Attached you'll see the hand-drawn hex map. I'll be using the tables provided in the HexHunt rule book to generate all the details of the land from geography to settlement, to NPCs, to villains. It will also include lore to flavour your gameplay and to help you imagine the world more clearly.

As you see, it includes a total of 20 points of interest, (three of which are dungeons), a central settlement called Dimyr, two smaller settlements, one in the northwest, and the other in the south, and two religious setttlements (Altar), one in the west and another in the northeast.

It may (or may not) include pre-scripted, choose-your-own-adventure style 'programmed' dialogues with NPCs, for most probably key individuals. It will also include pre-generated weather plan
